Who we are

Our story

We are Fany and Nicolas, founders of Froggies Family, a French association that raises funds to finance sustainable projects run by local organizations for the benefit of disadvantaged children in South Africa.

After finishing school, getting our first jobs, and gaining our first experience in community service, we met at Restos du Cœur 25 years ago (and got married!). After 10 years of volunteering with this organization and successfully managing a meal distribution site in Paris, we decided to launch our own organization.

We wanted to be directly involved in the decisions and actions taken, within a “light” and agile structure. We wanted to support small organizations focused on disadvantaged children.

Our commitment stems partly from a legacy of family values (our mothers are themselves involved in humanitarian projects). It is also motivated by a deep conviction that it is absolutely essential to give children who do not enjoy a favorable environment the means to succeed, particularly through access to education.

Our encounter with South Africa in 2013 was purely coincidental, during a trip to discover local NPOs. But it proved decisive, because it was at that moment and in that place that our approach took shape. We are now committed to it, with all our hearts and with a desire to make a difference, at our own level, for the children of the townships.

Our approach

Our vision

Breaking the cycle of poverty in South African township communities for good.

We act as a structural link between our two trusted partners based in South Africa, who carry out actions on the ground, and companies, corporate foundations, educational institutions, and individual donors wishing to support initiatives with a positive and sustainable impact.

Nous formons une communauté internationale engagée qui s’unit autour d’une ambition commune : contribuer activement à la construction d’un monde plus juste et plus équitable.

We are a committed international community united by a common ambition: to actively contribute to building a fairer and more equitable world.

Our approach is inspired by business management methods and best practices based on trust, rigor, and transparency.

Our actions are part of a comprehensive three-year strategic plan, for which we define an operational roadmap and clear objectives each year, in close collaboration with our local partners.

We report on our activities on a quarterly and annual basis, with a particular focus on impact indicators.

Thanks to this structured model, which guarantees trust and transparency, we are able to mobilize individuals and institutional partners, build relationships, optimize resources, and contribute to sustainable change.

Our mission

Promote access to education and improve learning conditions for children.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
